Forces Advice Limited – About Us

For military people and families from ex-military

Integrity, discretion and dependability are of paramount importance when serving in the forces. As ex-military personnel, the management team at Forces Advice has sought to carry these attributes through to their approach to offering advice on appropriate insurance.

We recognize the unique challenges facing soldiers and other servicemen, women and families when it comes to finding the right insurance cover. If you’re ‘under orders’ it can be difficult to find high street insurers willing to offer life cover – and where it is available, it’s likely you’ll be paying an increased premium. Similarly, forces personnel need to read the small print when it comes to buying critical illness cover; many ‘off the shelf’ policies will specifically exclude claims arising from active combat.

But cover is available. And it needn’t cost the Earth. Forces Advice was established to help forces members and their families find suitable cover, offering adequate protection and a price they find acceptable.

Why choose Forces Advice?

At Forces Advice we put the members of H M Forces and their families first. Our absolute goal is to ensure that they have the right insurance for their particular needs.

That means offering genuine choices. Unlike some forces insurance brokers, we are not tied to a single insurer. We offer a range of products from carefully selected insurers who can provide cover to military personnel and their families. Each insurer takes a slightly different approach. Using our extensive market knowledge we can arrange cover for you that best fits your needs.

We do not charge for our advice. We make our money from a commission paid to us by the insurer for any forces insurance policy sold. That means you’re not under any obligation to us. It also means we’re effectively incentivized to find the best deal for you – otherwise you might not buy from us!
